Arena Breakout: Infinite is a PvPvE extraction shooter first, but it has had proper PvE since Season 5 and Season 6 turned it into a real part of the game. There are four modes worth knowing, and a fifth arriving with Season 7. Everything below is from Morefun's own announcements; where the details are vague, that is because they were vague.
Hostile Sector — the main PvE mode
Added in Season 6: White Nights (30 June 2026). Hostile Sector replaces other players with heavily reinforced AI — Morefun lists grenadiers, fumigators, stronger elite enemies and boss events — and the payoff is that "death penalties are greatly reduced and in most cases the earnings are quite significant," in their words.
- Maps: Farm and Northridge are pure PvE. TV Station, which has the richer loot, keeps a PvPvE format with "significantly reduced PvP pressure" — expect fewer squads, not none.
- Solo Infiltration: a solo-only version of the same mode. Morefun's 3 July update reduced AI density in the Farm wheatfields and loading area and around the Northridge sawmill, cut AI view distance, and made limb incapacitation rarer, after feedback that the launch tuning was brutal. Their advice in that same note: try Solo Infiltration in a group first, and use the Mastery system to build around it.
- Entry: during July, TV Station Hostile Sector ran on a Friday-to-Sunday schedule while Solo Infiltration stayed open all month. Entry tickets ("Tactical Ops" drops, tradeable out of raid) allow unlimited entries; check the in-game mode screen for the current rotation, because it changes with live updates.
All three TV Station bosses — Kurt, Bernard and Rolf — can spawn in the same Hostile Sector raid, which is the mode's whole appeal if you want boss loot without a third-party squad arriving mid-fight.
No Man's Land — ticketed, fixed loadout
Introduced with Season 5. A pure PvE run for solos or a single squad on a rotation of Farm, Valley and TV Station, with a fixed loadout rather than your own kit and tickets for entry. The point is loot without risk to your stash: you do not bring gear in, so you cannot lose it. Morefun handed out 36 tickets during the anniversary event, which tells you the intended cadence — a few runs a week, not a farming loop.
Supplies Drops — co-op with respawns
The odd one out. Four squads on Airport, no custom loadouts, unlimited respawns; you loot resources and deposit them into personal or team supply crates, and the crate contents are split among the team at the end. It is competitive against the other squads for the deposit ranking (the July update doubled the first-place multiplier to 2.0) but nobody loses a kit. Ranked points from it are capped to players below Ace V.
Season 7: Zombie Endless and Infected Zone
From 16 September 2026:
- Zombie Endless — pure PvE on Airport, unlocks at level 8. Zombies scale over time; you clear them, complete missions and upgrade weapons and skills mid-run to earn "merits." Built for a team.
- Infected Zone — PvPvE, the normal extraction format with six zombie types added. Farm, Valley and Airport, at two difficulties that map to Lockdown and Forbidden (Valley is the easier tier; Farm and Airport the harder). An in-raid merchant sells items and information, and a Zombie Research progression line spends points earned here on perks.
Both are announcement-stage until the patch lands; the Season 7 page quotes the full text and will carry the patch notes.
Which one to start with
New to the game: Hostile Sector on Farm. It is the map the beginner guides are written around, the AI is now tuned to be learnable, and you keep what you extract. Come back to normal raids once you know the extractions without a map open.
