What the columns mean for this weapon
How to read it
Pen is the round's penetration figure; Class is the armour class the chart rates it to defeat. Against a plate one class higher than the round, expect most hits to be absorbed. The strongest 7.62S here is rated to class 5; see every round that beats class 5.
Flesh is damage to an unarmoured hitbox. High-pen rounds usually trade flesh damage away, which is why the two picks above are rarely the same round.
The weapon itself does not change these numbers — its fire rate, recoil and effective range decide how many of them land. Those are on the SKS page; compare it with other carbines on the Carbines index.
