What carbines are for

Semi-auto rifles chambered in rifle calibers: the reach and penetration of an AR without the full-auto, usually for far less Koen. The classic budget rifle slot.

Range and muzzle velocity matter more here than fire rate — a carbine is a first-shot weapon. Ergonomics tells you how fast that first shot comes up. Every weapon below has a best-ammo page built from its caliber ladder, and the ammo chart holds the full table.
