Arena Breakout: Infinite is free to play. You do not need a key, a beta invite or a purchase — the closed-beta key era ended with the full release, and the old beta-key error guide is history. What you need is a Windows PC that clears the system requirements, 70 GB of space, and one of three storefronts.
Where to download it
- Steam — app 2073620, live since 15 September 2025. The easiest route if your friends are on Steam: overlay, achievements, trading cards, and Valve's player count tells you how busy it is.
- Epic Games Store — the same game and the same servers. Pick this if you already live in the Epic launcher.
- Official launcher — Morefun's own client from arenabreakoutinfinite.com. It was the original way in and still gets patches at the same time as the others.
All three connect to the same servers, so which store you choose changes nothing about matchmaking or balance. What it does change is your login: an Infinite Pass account ties progress together, and Morefun's FAQ is explicit that if you already had the launcher build you must download the Steam build separately to play through Steam — the existing install cannot simply be re-pointed.
What "free" covers
Everything you shoot with. Weapons, ammo, armour, keys and missions are earned with Koen in the game's economy. The paid currency, Bonds, buys cosmetics, battle passes, elite cards and secure-case trials; the Bonds guide covers what they are and where free ones come from. There is no pay-to-win ammo tier.
Install size and first launch
Budget 70 GB and an SSD if you have one. The launcher will download a large patch on first start after a season change — Season 6 was around 25 GB — and the ACE anti-cheat installs alongside the game. Anti-cheat is also why the game is Windows-only and does not run on Steam Deck.
On first launch you will hit the tutorial and then the mode select. Before you queue into a real raid, the beginner guides are worth ten minutes: which map to start on, what a conditional extraction is, and why the first kit you lose does not matter.
Regions and servers
You cannot pick a server. The game assigns one by IP for the lowest ping, which is fine for most people and annoying if you are on a VPN or want to play with a friend on another continent — in that case the friend on the higher-ping side just eats it. If the game seems down rather than slow, the server status page reads the live Steam numbers.
Consoles and mobile
There is no console version. The phone game called Arena Breakout is a separate title with its own account and servers.
