Arena Breakout: Infinite is a PC game and, as of 10 September 2026, only a PC game. It runs on Windows 10 or later through Steam, the Epic Games Store and Morefun's own launcher. There is no PS5 or Xbox version, no announced date for one, no crossplay, and no controller support. If you searched this because you play Arena Breakout on your phone, that is a different game — same maps and gun names, separate servers, separate accounts, separate balance.
Console: what has actually been said
Nothing. We keep every one of Morefun's Steam announcements in this database (96 posts back to the closed beta) and the word "console" does not appear in any of them. The Steam store page lists Windows as the only platform, with macOS and Linux both marked unsupported. Anything you read about a PS5 or Xbox release date is a guess, and usually a guess dressed up as a leak.
That does not mean it will never happen. The mobile game exists, the engine is Unreal, and the studio has shipped on consoles before. But there is no roadmap entry, no rating-board listing and no dev-talk mention, and we will update this page the day one of those appears — the seasons page is where announcement text lands first.
Crossplay: with what?
People asking about crossplay usually mean one of two things:
- PC with mobile. No. Arena Breakout (mobile) and Arena Breakout: Infinite (PC) are two products. Your mobile account, stash and Bonds do not transfer, and you will never meet a phone player in a PC raid.
- Steam with Epic or the official launcher. Yes — this one works. All PC builds share the same servers, and an Infinite Pass account keeps your progress in sync whichever client you launch. Morefun's launch FAQ does say that if you already had the official-launcher build you must download the Steam build separately to play through Steam.
Cross-platform between Steam friends and Epic friends is handled through the in-game friend system rather than the platform overlay, so add people by their in-game name.
Controller support
Morefun's own words at the Steam launch: "Controllers are currently not supported." The store page has no controller badge, and there is no gamepad option in the settings menu. You can force it with Steam Input or a remapper, but the game is built around a mouse for a reason — the inventory and looting are drag-and-drop heavy, and aim-assist does not exist. If controller support ever ships it will be in the patch notes, and this page will change.
Steam Deck and Linux
Also no, and this one is firmer than the others. Valve's compatibility report for the app returns "SteamOS does not support," and Morefun's FAQ says Linux and Steam Deck are not supported. The blocker is the ACE anti-cheat, which has no Proton path — the same reason a number of other online shooters skip the Deck. Details are in the Steam Deck and Linux guide.
What you can play on
The full answer for a Windows PC is on the system requirements page: a GTX 960-class card and 12 GB of RAM at minimum, 70 GB of storage, and it is free to play. If your PC is the question rather than the platform, start there.
If you only have a console, the honest recommendation is to watch the player count and the season announcements rather than pre-order anything — nothing exists to pre-order.
