The Past

Northridge really is a nice place. When I was growing up in Zuate, I saw an ad for a tourist spot in Onotos. Tall mountains, rushing rivers-the most beautiful scenery imaginable. After Northridge Hotel was built, I had planned to take my family there for a few days. But the price… I just couldn’t believe it. And even at such ridiculous rates, it was almost impossible to get a room there. I remember thinking, “Wow, Kamona really is the land of the rich.” Now, Northridge Hotel is just a shadow of its former glory, and… well, I’m even worse off! I wonder what we’ll get in the end, for all our troubles. Defeat? Injury? Perhaps… judgment?
